1.jpgThe Marine Guardian Observation Chain is an overall solution for underwater multi-parameter long-term observation, with measurement parameters including dissolved oxygen, conductivity (salinity), temperature, current, pressure (depth), tides, etc.It integrates multiple sensors into a chain-shaped observation system, which can set observation nodes at different water depths, and set the parameters needed to be measured at each node according to user needs, and control the observation chain through the ocean guard controller at one end of the observation chainmultiple sensors (power and communication), measurement data is stored in the controller's SD card or transmitted in real time via cable.A set of observation chain systems can carry up to 25 AiCaP intelligent sensors.

The Ocean Guard Sensor Chain (pictured below right) is specially designed to connect to the Ocean Guard Platform, and an observation chain system can mount up to 25 AiCaP sensors.The end design of the cable can be very convenient for the extension of the cable or the addition of observation branches, and the cable can be up to 300 meters long.The location of each observation point in the observation chain is determined by the user.2.jpg
The Ocean Guardian sensor chain configuration is extremely flexible, which makes the Observation Chain system an ideal set of measurement tools.A typical application is to perform water column measurements.
Smart sensors and Ocean Guard Observer Observer Observer Platform are integrated on the sensor disk of the Ocean Guarder Platform. Just simply insert the smart sensors and observation chain into the sensor disk of the Ocean Guarder Platform, tighten the screws, and then turn on the instrument. All sensors will automatically detect.and identify.
The Ocean Guardian Observation Chain Controller and Andra Intelligent Sensor are connected via the CANbus protocol (AiCaP) in XML format.This communication protocol has the characteristics of plug-and-play and power saving.After power on, each sensor connected to the bus reports its own performance parameters to the observation chain controller.After the controller summarizes the information, the user provides optional configuration options to configure it by the user according to the observation node currently connected to the observation link.This configuration scheme provides great flexibility for the use and design of different observation elements of the observation chain system.
The Ocean Guard Observation Chain Controller can store data in a self-contained manner, and the data is stored on the SD card.Currently, the storage capacity of SD cards is 4GB, which is sufficient.The Marine Guard Observation Chain System can communicate and transmit data in real time through Andra's real-time data acquisition software. The output data is readable engineering data, which can be easily post-processed through the Seaguard Studio software.Each sensor connected to the observation chain can be marked (such as marking the depth of the sensor's observation point is easy to identify by the sensor).
The Ocean Guard Observation Chain Controller Sensor Disk can be connected to 6 sensors, 4 of which can be sensors with analog output (0-5V).The Ocean Guard Observation Chain Controller has 2 battery compartments, which power the observation chain through the controller's built-in battery for long-term observation. The AiCaP CANbus communication protocol has the characteristics of very power consumption.
The Marine Guard Observation Chain System can be configured according to the user's different application needs, such as the online observation chain system, the fixed bottom observation system, the float observation system, and the long-term/Short-term observation system, etc.
