It is typically used for measurement of port waves and tides, shipping weather forecasts, climate research and other quantities.The measurement of the tide is the average of the hydrostatic pressure over a period of time (10 seconds to 8 minutes, set by the user), with measurement intervals ranging from 2 seconds to 2 hours. | |
