Seaguard II DCP is a brand new Seaguard series acoustic flow rate profiler.It creatively improves the acoustic profile capability and further improves the ability of the anchor system to collect high-quality current data when moving and tilting.
It can be used for self-casual measurements or real-time online monitoring, which can meet the different measurement needs of users.SeaGuardII is an intelligent data acquisition and control center, which is composed of SeaGuard electronics and Andra's advanced management software SmartGuard.
Seaguard II DCP operates at 600kHz, and the equipment can measure sea currents at the same time, and measure water quality with multiple parameters.In order to cope with the special requirements of marine upper environmental monitoring, many innovations have been made in product design, such as extending the layout time and optimizing the flexibility of configuration.
The device can be equipped with a number of different Aanderaa smart sensors such as temperature, pressure, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, waves, tides and turbidity.Seaguard II has four analog interfaces and two serial interfaces for external power supply and real-time data transmission.

Note:
(1) The measurement range is affected by backscattering conditions. For low-scattering waters, the measurement range will be lower than that of high-scattering waters.
(2) Standard deviation of horizontal speed in broadband mode, layer thickness 3m

(4) Select the best 3 beams to avoid the impact of occlusion and echo failure
