Ground and aerial measurement
The Raptor ACS-225LR Aerial Crop Sensor includes a built-in light source for measurement under various lighting conditions.The detector can obtain vegetation information at over 120 kts (220 km/h) and at low altitudes (5 m to over 50 m above crops and soil), including NDVI and SRI vegetation indexes as well as basic reflection information and simulated heights obtained by NIR channels.. When used on the ground, the Raptor ACS-225LR probe probe is easily installed on a variety of vehicles. It only needs to pass through the measurement area to measure the biomass and its distribution of plants or crops.The measured data can be used to quantify the effects of nutrients, moisture, diseases, or other growth factors on plants or crops.
Multi-channel spectroscopy
The Raptor ACS-225LR contains 2 optical measurement channels that simultaneously measure crop/soil reflectivity at 660 nm and 850 nm (or 735 nm and 850 nm optional).The unique feature of ACS-225LR is that its spectral reflectivity can be determined without the influence of the measurement height variation.Holland Scientific calls this technology "Pseudo Solar Reflectance" (PSR).This means that the spectral reflectivity represents a percentage, so it is not affected by the change in the distance between the probe and the target.This will open up the possibility of using more than a dozen direct nutritional indicators rather than proportion-based parameters.
Easily obtain data | |||
By using the Holland Scientific GeoSCOUT GLS-400 Data Collector, data can be stored in text quickly and easily into an SD card.In addition, by connecting to a GPS receiver on GeoSCOUT, the data collected by the ACS-430 can be geotagged and can be used in third-party geographic information system (GIS) software.
