Transducer configuration principles

p9.jpg

ComeHigh frequencies (such as 420kHz) are more suitable for small "targets" and close-range detection

ComeLow frequencies (such as 38kHz & 70kHz) are more suitable for large "targets", marine environments and long-distance detection.

ComeThe transducer of the split beam is used to count and track individual targets, and to determine the precise target acoustic intensity for measuring target size

ComeBoth single-beam and split beam transducers are suitable for water depth measurement, base classification, and collection of data on fish and zooplankton clustering and submerged plants.
