Online Doppler current meter 5800/5810 is an upgraded version of DCS4100. It can not only monitor sea currents online, but also directly connect other water quality sensors for online monitoring of multiple parameters (model 5810). On the one hand, it can collect more water quality parameters.Information, on the other hand, improves measurement accuracy (corrects the deviation of sound speed in different water bodies through CTD measurement to improve measurement accuracy).For float applications, when magnetization interference occurs in float bodies, external meridians can be used to solve the magnetization interference problem.

The Doppler inverter acoustic Doppler principle adopts the backscattering acoustic Doppler principle, which has two orthogonal sensor axes, with two sensors on each axis.Therefore, bidirectional measurements can be performed on each axis, which is a major advantage of this sensor.By turning on the forward measurement function, the instrument can only use two sensors facing the sea current to measure during measurement, which greatly reduces interference from the sensor and the vortex around the anchor chain.When the forward measurement function is enabled, only one sensor on each axis sends acoustic pulses and receives acoustic pulses reflected from the particles, thereby measuring the orthogonal velocity components of the X-axis and Y-axis. After tilt compensation, the horizontal velocity is obtained.Component.The velocity components of the north and east directions are calculated by measuring the X-axis and Y-axis velocity vectors and the direction of the built-in solid-state electronic compass. After multiple measurements, the output flow velocity and flow direction are calculated.

The online Doppler inverter meter uses dual-frequency ZPulse technology to obtain higher accuracy for each pulse measurement.Therefore, the user can either change the number of measurement pulses (pings) or obtain higher measurement accuracy or reduce power consumption.

The Doppler inverter meter 5800/5810 can be directly connected to the computer through Andra real-time data acquisition software or connected to smartGuard and Seaguard data acquisition devices for configuration.Andra real-time digital acquisition software is an efficient and powerful tool for control and data acquisition of Andra marine equipment.
